Quite a few years ago, Angela and Patricia were gown shopping for Patricia’s oldest daughter. She happened to be a full-figured bride at that time. We of course started to shop locally and in our surrounding areas to the north and south of us to our dismay, there just wasn’t a good selection of gowns for the full-figured bride. This was discouraging to our daughter and niece, as she just wanted a beautiful gown for the most important day of her life.

We started talking about her experience and how big of a difference it would make if there was a boutique that catered to the full-figured bride. So as sisters we started planning and searching for our designers. Countless hours went into research. We carefully selected top designers such as Justin Alexander, Sophia Tolli, Martin Thornburg from Mon Cheri and Calla Blanche to name a few. We put that plan into action and opened Enchanted Bridal Boutique in 2014.

The Aurea Vista Hotel was designed by G. Stanley Wilson, who also designed the facade of the Stalder building and was chief architect of the Mission Inn. The building opened on March 28, 1928 as a hotel and separate banquet room on the upper floor and a furniture store on the ground floor.

The building was used as an anti-aircraft intelligence headquarters during World War II. The Riverside Ballet Arts opened a dance school in the banquet room in 1970. The Ballet and the Old Riverside Foundation petitioned the City of Riverside to designate the Aurea Vista building as a local landmark and became City Historical Landmark No. 84.

In 2014, Shelby Worthington & Cindy Alden started Loft .84. Shelby and Cindy made several improvements and rennovations to the space in order to bring it back to life and to it’s original purpose, weddings & events.  The venue is now Loft.84, named after its Historical Landmark designation.

Malibooth hopes to be your creative tool used while planning your special day. Malibooth will take your vision and bring it to life. We specialize in consulting on everything from floor plans and lighting design to flowers, furniture, linens, and attire. Our design decisions create the mood and first impressions your guests will experience upon entering the event space.

A stylist’s role is purely aesthetic. Malibooth helps choose décor in relation to the unique theme decided upon so your guests are dazzled. We make sure no detail goes overlooked. We believe the small, special details are just as important for the look and feel of an event as the large ones are.

For weddings, planners and stylists work together but usually perform different tasks. A planner works hard to coordinate the event as a whole and will be there to make sure your bridesmaids walk down the aisle on time. Malibooth would be responsible for helping you make the right design decisions so all the decor at your event fits cohesively together.

We hire and manage talented creative professionals and arrive on the day of the event to set it all up. We provide the day of styling support you need to make sure all your decor elements are displayed and placed exactly how they should be.

Our Traditional Wedding package is designed for those looking to uphold classic traditions as well as those looking to create their own unique memories. This package includes use of the venue for rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Also included in your rental are tables, chairs, plenty of free public parking in a nearby lot, setup/breakdown, and other complimentary features! Our package is a flat rate, regardless of date or season. There are no discounts for partial use. Best of all, there’s no tax on your rental, since the money goes towards supporting the programs of our nonprofit organization, the Western Justice Center. By booking The Maxwell House, you are assisting valuable programs that empower people to strengthen their communities by growing the conflict resolution skills and capacity of youth, educators, schools, and community partners.

Choice of Saturday or Sunday rental (no weekday weddings) with prep time the Friday before your event.

Weddings may use the rental time for ceremonies, receptions, or both. No changes in pricing can be made. Our flat rate applies for any weekend rental regardless of usage, season, or date. Some holiday weekends may have increased rates.

Private use of The Maxwell House from 11am-11pm (12hrs) on the day of the wedding/event. This time includes setup and breakdown. All events must end by 10pm and be cleared by 11pm. This time can not be altered.

Private use includes the living room, dining room, library, foyer, mezzanine, kitchen, garden patios, and wedding suite.

Prep/rehearsal time in the space from 1pm-5pm (4hrs) the Friday before the event. You may use this time to decorate, schedule deliveries, rehearse, etc.

Setup & breakdown of furniture owned by The Maxwell House, according to your floor plan needs.

Rental pickups may take place Monday morning following your event (a budget-friendly option!)

Access to nearby parking lot + free public street parking available.

Dance floor Required for all events where dancing will take place. (Our dance floor is located at the back of the Foyer and cannot be moved. )

For years we have pondered… Why isn’t there a simple directory for the wedding industry that is both informative and affordable to all?  A platform that concentrates all wedding services that couples would be interested in.

We built this website from an experienced vendor perspective, for both engaged couples and wedding professionals. Our intention is to simplify a couple’s search for their ideal wedding needs, as well as offer wedding businesses an affordable, easy to manage listing to showcase their services. We believe our platform is beneficial to the local community and all facets of the wedding industry.

 

Getting Acquainted With Our Site 

On our Home Page you will find a random selection of businesses throughout Southern California.

The left sidebar contains Wedding Events; all upcoming Bridal Shows/Expos, as well as Trunk Shows. Below this, you will find all Wedding Services listed by category.

Once a category in Wedding Services is selectedyou will find several filters on the left side of the page. You can search by region or county as well as several other filters which are specific to that vendor category. By checking multiple boxes in these filters, couples are able to narrow their search results to align with their specific needs by location, price, services offered, etc.

Pages where you find multiple listings, referred to as the grid – are set to display relevant information at a glance. Selecting a specific business will take you to their details page.

Living the Dream in Southern California!

I discovered my passion for photography while serving in the United States Coast Guard at station Bodega Bay. Trying to capture that perfect sunset image pushed me to learn everything I could about photography! Several years later I had the privilege to photograph a friends wedding andI instantly fell in love with documenting the joy of two humans coming together with all their friends and family to celebrate LOVE. If I’m not photographing weddings, working on my couples albums you can find me exploring several national parks around California including; Joshua Tree, Yosemite, Sequoia National Park, Zion and Death Valley just to name a few!

– I Love to travel, hike, and camp!

– I’m a HUGE Star Wars and Marvel Fan and I collect POPS!

– I’ve been surfing, and skateboarding since I was 14 years old!

Complimentary wedding cake tasting.  Our consultations are done at the same time as the tasting and typically last about an hour.

 

Design & Deposit-

Feel free to bring designs that inspire you to discuss.

A retainer of $350 is required to book unless

you’ve booked with one of our preferred venues.

 

Delivery & Set Up-

We offer both delivery and set up of your wedding cake.

The fees are determined by location.
