Rev. Elizabeth Oakes is based in Los Angeles, CA, where she has offered wedding officiation and confidential marriage licensing to Southern California since 2001. She specializes in modern, nondenominational, and multicultural weddings and is an LGBT equality ally. She is happily married to her silent partner Mr. Goldstein (Goldstein + Oakes = “Golden Oak”), tends their organic butterfly garden when time permits, and serves as a volunteer civil officiant for the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder County Clerk. She has written as a nationally syndicated online columnist covering wedding stories from around the world.

We don’t specialize in one thing because what excites us the most is what we have yet to make.

Gilbert Le is the founder and Creative Director of Mulberry St, a boutique Digital Production Company that has redefined the meaning of branded video content.
Mulberry St was built on the belief that EVERY brand should have cinematic content that not only engages but also educates and entertains its audience. Gilbert has a film degree from Art Center College of Design.

Originally from Southern California, Lara drove across the country to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design, and graduated with a BFA in Fashion.

Lara fell in love with creating custom gowns after being commissioned to create her first wedding dress in 2012, and creating her own wedding dress and others soon after. Folklore Dress Studio was founded in Los Angeles in 2016. Lara currently works out of her studio in Pasadena, California.

NV are the initials of Nikole Vega. Owner and lead artist for the team. Nikole opened NV Glam Studio in Santa Barbara in 2019. The business grew faster than she could ever imagine and only 3 years later she was opening the doors at a prime location in Hollywood for her new project where the NV Glam Studio and NV Glam Loft merge as a beauty and photography studio Her passion, talent, and personality have opened the doors for her to bring nv glam to become one of the top makeup teams in the area. Assuring she will do her best to try that none of her clients get disappointed by the nv glam team.

We are happy to travel to our client’s locations for convenience and we also take clients at any of our two locations in Santa Barbara or Hollywood.

Please have in mind we are not a hair salon. Unfortunately, we don’t take walk-ins or same day appointments. We don’t wash hair, do color or cuts. .

For years we have pondered… Why isn’t there a simple directory for the wedding industry that is both informative and affordable to all?  A platform that concentrates all wedding services that couples would be interested in.

We built this website from an experienced vendor perspective, for both engaged couples and wedding professionals. Our intention is to simplify a couple’s search for their ideal wedding needs, as well as offer wedding businesses an affordable, easy to manage listing to showcase their services. We believe our platform is beneficial to the local community and all facets of the wedding industry.

Getting Acquainted With Our Site 

On our Home Page you will find a random selection of businesses throughout Southern California.

The left sidebar contains Wedding Events; all upcoming Bridal Shows/Expos, as well as Trunk Shows. Below this, you will find all Wedding Services listed by category.

Once a category in Wedding Services is selected, you will find several filters on the left side of the page. You can search by region or county as well as several other filters which are specific to that vendor category. By checking multiple boxes in these filters, couples are able to narrow their search results to align with their specific needs by location, price, services offered, etc.

Pages where you find multiple listings, referred to as the grid – are set to display relevant information at a glance. Selecting a specific business will take you to their details page.

Details Page:

Your Business Name & Logo are displayed at the top of the page.

Your Contact Information is shown along with your Website / Social Media links and nine Images.

In Listing Description – Here you will describe your business. Above your description you will find the following tabs:

Send to friend – Allows people to send your listing to a friend via email.

Send Inquiry – Allows couples interested in your business to connect directly with you via email.

Add to favorites – Couples seeking vendor options can click this tab to save your company’s info in their profile area, for later retrieval.

Print – Allows the ability to print this listing.

We offer our own Review system (stars and count). We are a new company which means a fresh start for everyone. Your reviews will show under your business name in the grid, as well at the top of your details page. The sooner you join, the sooner you can start building your Reviews.

Klentner Ranch is a blank space location – this requires a full ‘build’ of everything needed for your event. We require the use of your own event or wedding planner to fully customize your event and maximize your use of the site. The event areas include the polo field, pool area and garden area, there is no indoor event space (all outdoors with the option to tent the lawn).   The home is not available for rent.
