The Aurea Vista Hotel was designed by G. Stanley Wilson, who also designed the facade of the Stalder building and was chief architect of the Mission Inn. The building opened on March 28, 1928 as a hotel and separate banquet room on the upper floor and a furniture store on the ground floor.

The building was used as an anti-aircraft intelligence headquarters during World War II. The Riverside Ballet Arts opened a dance school in the banquet room in 1970. The Ballet and the Old Riverside Foundation petitioned the City of Riverside to designate the Aurea Vista building as a local landmark and became City Historical Landmark No. 84.

In 2014, Shelby Worthington & Cindy Alden started Loft .84. Shelby and Cindy made several improvements and rennovations to the space in order to bring it back to life and to it’s original purpose, weddings & events.  The venue is now Loft.84, named after its Historical Landmark designation.

I grew up in the California foothills with a camera slung around my neck. My family spent their summers vacationing in Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo and Cambria. By the time I completed High School, there was only one part of the world I wanted to live — San Luis Obispo! The inspiration for all our desserts at Vanilla began with my mom. She had a way of surprising our family with homemade cakes and sweets all the time. It was her thoughtfulness and my sweet tooth that inspired me to start baking at an early age.
In 2007, shortly after I graduated culinary school and my husband finished law school, the doors of Vanilla Bake Shop opened. A charming neighborhood bakery with fresh, from scratch cakes and assorted sweets that were focused on high quality ingredients with timeless taste.
The name ‘Vanilla Bake Shop’ was concocted years ago in culinary school. While in class one day, my instructor told us that “Vanilla was the worlds most universally loved flavor.” We agreed that would be the name of our bakery one day. It seemed fitting since we use real Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans in all our desserts… (and it was the only name any of our friends could remember!)
The memories from our moms’ kitchens have been recreated through Vanilla in a way that is new yet familiar. We hope you will stop by and say hi, while enjoying our freshly baked desserts.

THE MARIACHI TOROS DE MEXICO DE ROBERTO CORTES “EL TORITO” was founded in the year 2000, its members were originally from Plaza Garibaldi, Mexico, everything began with the concern of its leader and musical director Roberto Cortes, once he finished his doctorate in music on He himself began the flight towards the adventure that is called “mariachi toros de mexico” after selecting some musicians they began to rehearse some songs that later became their first musical recording, and since then their work has been combined accompanying various renowned artists Not satisfied with having a good job accompanying artists, the musical director risks a little more and sets out to conquer his own audience, arriving in California and settling in Bakersfield CA, where his base is to settle. Currently they have 5 productions that locally It has had good hits, but the dream is to conquer more international audiences, this being the goal of its musical director.

The left sidebar contains Wedding Events; all upcoming Bridal Shows/Expos, as well as Trunk Shows. Below this, you will find all Wedding Services listed by category.

Once a category in Wedding Services is selectedyou will find several filters on the left side of the page. You can search by region or county as well as several other filters which are specific to that vendor category. By checking multiple boxes in these filters, couples are able to narrow their search results to align with their specific needs by location, price, services offered, etc.

Pages where you find multiple listings, referred to as the grid – are set to display relevant information at a glance. Selecting a specific business will take you to their details page.
